Muthowaro Minerals Ltd is based in Mwanza, within Tanzania’s Lake Victoria gold region. Under its current Dealer’s Licence, Muthowaro is authorised to buy and sell gold within the Lake Victoria Western Zone, covering Mwanza, Geita, Mbogwe and Kagera.

This region includes some of Tanzania’s most important gold-producing areas and provides Muthowaro with a strong local position close to producers, mining communities and the regulated mineral trading system.

Tanzania continues to strengthen and formalise its framework for gold mining, mineral trading, responsible sourcing, transparency and local value creation.
